Connection is a series of drawing installation that presents the natural shapes of negative spaces between trees. The installation takes place in various locations, not only near the trails, but also deep in the woods. With is treasure hunt-like quality, visitors of the park will be stimulated to find more drawings throughout the place and fully appreciate the site.
Every drawing, covered in beeswax to protect it from weathering and situate the drawing in their natural environment, depicts various imaginations set in Point Pleasant Park. As a drawer I hope this work could capture the warmth and excitement the park and daily life brings me.

Untitled is, basically, an artificially evergreen tree in the middle of nature. This flocked piece of driftwood invites viewer to come closer and explore. At first glance, the tree appears to be an artificial replica of a real tree, yet its base still used to be a part of ecosystem as a living organism.
Untitled stands in contrast to the natural cycle of life and death that occur within the environment. Real trees change with the seasons, while the flocked tree remains a constant green all year round, defying the natural rhythms of the environment. This artwork, using a piece of wood that has undergone its own cicle of life, creates a new cycle of life, allowing the wood to become a living object once again.
